Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Lovely color, comfortable, flattering for various figures My bridesmaids are wearing these for my October wedding. We ordered 1 small, 2 mediums and 1 large. All fit true to size and flatter the individual person wearing them. All 4 ladies have different bust sizes...as mentioned in previous reviews this dress does show some cleavage. Unfortunately this is not appropriate for the type of religious ceremony we are having. However, we are able to alter these so that cleavage isn’t an issue with a few stitches at the bust where the top crosses over itself. This literally takes less than 2 minutes to alter. I was amazed at people complaining about this not being a perfect fit and cleavage showing. I’ve never wore a bridesmaids dress personally that I didn’t have to alter and this by far is the easiest one. Color is rich. And amazingly dress is made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Beautiful shimmer, amazing fit I purchased this dress in blue to wear to a friend's wedding in December and it was the only one left in the store, a size XL. I remember thinking it probably wouldn't fit (for reference, I'm 5'11, 150 pounds, curvy, and am usually no bigger than a medium in dresses) but amazingly, the XL fit perfectly and hugged my every curve. This dress is the perfect combo of classy and chic, and I received so many compliments. I would just suggest sizing up but I definitely recommend it! I also sewed a button in the chest area to keep everything in place since it is a wrap dress. Excited to have a timeless dress I can wear for several different occasions!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from should have been wonderful I ordered this dress as part of a bridal party. It is a gorgeous color and the velvet/drape is very nice. I usually wear a M and ordered the XL & it still is crazy open on top -- think Mariah Carey. Not appropriate for a wedding. I am naturally large busted (DDDD), but others had this issue, even with a B bust. I called and they couldn't get extra fabric, so we ended up having to wear a white camisole underneath, which kind of ruins the look.

I ordered the thrive dress in XS in the red color and it is a lovely color and soft and pretty, I totally love it! It does cut low as some reviews have mentioned but it is not a big deal so depending on your size you may need a little snap or double sided tape in the front. I am 5' 2" and 105lbs, 32D, the first dress fit, the second didn't as described below! The one star review is because the first dress that arrived was defective. The loop that holds the waist tie in place was not affixed at the bottom, so it needed to be sewn in properly. So BHLDN said they would exchange it. But, the second dress that showed up while marked the same size was bigger than the first one and the hole that the waist tie went through was much bigger than the tie so you had what looked like a giant hole on the side of the dress when you tied it. So the quality of these dresses clearly varies significantly and the return/exchange process took weeks and required multiple phone calls to customer service. However, customer service was polite and did resolve the issue to my satisfaction.
