What wedding is complete without a toast (or two!) to the happy couple? To celebrate our spring #BHLDNBrides, we’re sharing creative and colorful spring wedding cocktail recipes that suit every wedding style. We asked cocktail expert Steve Wildy to create four cocktails with classic, modern, romantic, and bohemian brides in mind, including this herbal, citrus-infused martini.

Steve tells us, “Understated and elegant, yet still stylish and head-turning, this is an easy-to-make martini with a delicious sweet citrus and floral character. Keep it minimalist with a citrus peel garnish or add a dramatic sugar and lavender rim for a bolder flourish.”

Lavender Martini

2 oz. vodka
1 oz. lavender honey syrup*
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
.5 oz. fresh grapefruit juice

Shake all ingredients together over ice and strain in a lavender sugar-rimmed coupe glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

*Lavender Honey Syrup

1 1/3 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 Tbsp lavender

Combine sugar and water over heat in a saucepan until dissolved. Add lavender and simmer for 15
minutes. Stir in honey until dissolved. Strain and allow to cool completely.
